Error after reinstall (refresh) the TMS logging component in D11

Hi,

I updated TMS Logging to the latest version. After that, when I tried to compile our source code (it compiled fine with the old version), I got this error:

[dcc32 Fatal Error] TMSLoggingUtils.pas(1275): F2051 Unit VCL.TMSLogging was compiled with a different version of TMSLoggingUtils.TTMSLoggerOutputParameters

I rebuilt and installed the TMS Logging Delphi 11 package group again (Clean All / Build All) and reinstalled the dclTMSLogging280 package, but the error is still there.

How can I fully uninstall TMS Logging and remove any cached or old files, so I can reinstall it in a clean state?

Thank you!

Best regards,
Ferenc Pereszlenyi

That looks like leftovers from previous installations. Please refer to:

Thank you for your answer, but I don’t have tms.exe/com/ps1/bat/etc. to run it with the parameter “doctor”.
I looked through my file system using different search methods, but found nothing.
I uninstalled the component and deleted all tmslog*.* files that seem to be related to TMSLogging (I have installed otehr TMS components too), but after reinstall the TMSLogging the situation is still the same.

I understand you are using the old legacy installer instead of installing with TMS Smart Setup?

Please uninstall everything, clean up files as described in the previous post, and then install TMS Logging using TMS Smart Setup:
