Setup adds some strange paths and that breaks "brcc32" command, which begins to error with "Could not open VLC.RC":

The additional backslashes are indeed to be avoided. We have fixed our installers, but you will still need to manually check once and clean out all broken paths and then it should be future proof. Should you still have issues with a particular product that doesn't have a recent update, please let us know.
