After installing FNC components (some months back, now I tried last version from Dashboard, but it's the same), into Delphi 12 and 13, specifically Core and UI Pack, there is a problem loading FMX project and creating a new Multi-Device Application - Blank Application.
Upon trying to load project, IDE just freezes and crashes (exits) without error.
When selected Windows platform, it sometimes loads okay. When selected Android Platform with target device selected, IDE crashes. When project loaded and I change from Windows to Android and then connect/disconnect any Android device, IDE crashes.
I've tried to find any logs for any error, but haven't found anything.
the logs can be found in the TMS Smart Setup folder (where you pointed at during dashboard setup).
Well, ok, but those install logs don't tell me anything.
If they don't tell anything, meaning there are no errors, then the installation was succesful and it's something else that interferes. Please check if other third party components might interfere. We are not aware of crashes at designtime so far. Also, you might need to restart the IDE and see if it's still reproducible.
Thank you for the tip. I tried to uninstall DevExpress components and voila - no crashes. It is weird, however, these components don't involve FMX.
When installed just DevExpress or FNC UI Pack, IDE doesn't crash. When both, it does.
PS: Reinstalled new version of DevExpress and now both components work simultaneously.
