Hi

Now, for internal security reasons, I have to update the app from a local network.
When a network drive is created, enter the following in the URL:
Z:\dir_update\MAJ.inf
This works.

But is it possible to use other syntaxes? For example:
//machine_name/dir_update/MAJ.inf
or
//ipnumber/dir_update/MAJ.inf

I have tried this, but it does not work.

Did you use backward slashes?

Setting the update distribution location for network file based updates For network file based updates, this is set with the URL property, ie:

\\networkserver\sharename\controlfile.inf
