Will we get a Websocket-Client providing similar behaviour to XData-Client in future?

It's something under consideration but with low priority for now. Some reasons in no relevant order:

  1. Interest of existing customers and potential customers for this feature seems to be low.
  2. There is already a cross-platform solution for clients provided by FNC WebSockets product
  3. Mostly web sockets clients are web-based, and there is already easy-to-use native support from the web browser itself.
