I am tired of constantly reporting issues for which I receive no support (responses like: "we are looking into it," "it's not simple," or "maybe in a future version"). This just delays the problem, hoping the customer will stop asking.
I would like a clear stance on the issues I have reported, especially:
Handling of right-click events in TMSFNCMaps using the Here service.
Handling of non-displayed elements (requiring a map refresh).
Access to the same events in every map component—recently, OnError was added, but only to TMSFNCMaps, while it is missing, for example, in TMSFNCLeaflet.
These are just examples, and there are many more issues.
Unfortunately, because of this, I cannot use the purchased components in a predictable way. Additionally, the sample application codes I have sent, which contain repeatable errors, remain unanswered.
Please note that we are constantly working on improving and expanding the TMS FNC Maps
product. Unfortunately not all requests can be addressed due to technical and time constraints.
Rest assured, we aim to respond to all reported issues by providing either a resolution or a suitable workaround whenever possible. If there are unresolved concerns, we encourage you to reply in the respective discussion threads, allowing us to effectively follow up.
The OnError event was only introduces recently to the TMSFNCMaps component. We are planning to make the event available for derived components in a future update.
Hello again,
Assurances about “development” and “attempts to analyze” are the only things I keep hearing. Unfortunately, these changes are not being implemented. I understand that some things take time. However, I disagree with the accusations that you did not receive the sample code – I sent it on February 26, 2025, to the address supportcenter@tmssoftware.com
Alright – you lost the message – today I have forwarded a copy of it again.
We have received the sample code you sent via email. A response has been sent to your email, detailing the solution along with the necessary code modifications.
