TMSFNCRichEditor not support on web?

Hi There,

we are now trying to find a RichEditor for our web application that could support rtf (Microsoft Rich Text Format). We thought FNCRichEditor may be a good option for us since it provides lots of good features and also supports loading a rtf file. However, we were not able to find FNCRichEditor component on a web application side but it shows up on VCL application side.

Our questions are:

  1. does that mean FNCRichEditor is not available for web application? If it is not for now, may we expect an upgrade so FNCRichEditor is able to be used on web application in the coming future?

  2. do we have other options so we can have a rtf-supported rich editor for our web application? Any advice would be helpful for us!

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Sorry, TTMSFNCRichEditor is an exception in the FNC component offerings that does not support web.
For editing of formatted text, there is the TWebRichEdit included in TMS WEB Core and the TMS FNC WX Pack features also the TTMSFNCWXHTMLMemo for even more extensive formatted text editing in a TMS WEB Core web client application. See: TMS Software | Blog where this is introduced.

Hi Bruno,

Thanks for your kind reply.

That is quite exciting new and I have a feeling TTMSFNCWXHTMLMemo may be a good option for us. Is there a way for now we can evaluate the WX pack? we are not all-access users but could we request a demo version for WX package? and may we expect version v1.0 to be released in coming future very soon?

Again, thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from you back!

Cheers,

We are working very hard to release TMS FNC WX Pack in the coming days and then it will be available as trial + separate registered version product.
It will also be shown later today during our webinar
