When I switched from classic installers to Smart setup I needed to unistall the products manually before and after that install them with Smart setup.
Is this your "first time" use of smart setup - then it might help in your situation also...
This is only needed for the first install with smart setup - later everything is installed perfectly fine. All you have to do is lean back and wait for a few seconds...
The log clearly mentions this at the end. You need to first uninstall via normal setup and then use TMS Smart Setup, it's not possible to have a mixed normal setup / tms smart setup
