We are using Smart Setup for a few weeks now and it is a big win for us as the uppdate process is now much easier.
What i didn't found so far: Is there a way to list packages that are outdated and for which a new update is available?
I know i can run update for all or a specific product, but i would like to check (in a simple way) if there is a new version of a specific package available.
From command-line, there is still no direct option for that.
But you can use the GUI interface (tmsgui.exe) it will show the outdated products in bold:
