Renewals and Smart Setup

Every time we renew our subscriptions (site license) seems to require significant effort.

  • I have to ask for a combined invoice so I can pay in one go
  • I have to go through each package and add each developer again, one at a time
  • The developers then get an email for each package, each one with a different code
  • The code that they originally used in Smart Setup no longer provides the list of products they are licensed for
  • The codes provided in the new emails do not provide a list of the products that they are licensed for
  • It does show for the developers on TMS My Products, but not on the dashboard
  • Developer has to contact support

Feature Requests:

  1. Auto renewal
  2. Maintained licenses across renewals
  3. Single list of developers
  4. Each developer has a single auth code

Dear Mr Weetch,

Thank you for the suggestions! We are currently reworking our licensing backend to handle exactly the things you're outlining as well as some others (e.g. SSO). We'll make all our users aware once these changes take effect.
