Problem installing in DXE6

IW TMS IntraWeb Component Pack

When installing TMS IW Component Pack for IW 14 in DXE6, I get the error: Cannot find component "Intraweb" which is declared in the requires part of the project.



Is there something I'm missing?

Are we missing perhaps the "UPD" files, like IW14TMSXLSDXE6UPD.dproj ????

Please note, as indicated on the product page:
Delphi XE6 & C++Builder XE6 support is currently only available for IntraWeb 14.0.0, in trial and registered version of TMS IntraWeb Component Pack Pro.

Support for newer IW 14 versions will be added at a later date.

1. i'm trying to install the IW 5.5.0.0 pack on a clean and new installation of XE6 (after i cleaned with AToZed's bundle cleaner tool) and i still get that message.

if i understand it correctly, the version 5.5.0.0should be ready for XE6 and for a higher version of IW then 14.0.0.


2. in the install.txt file it says :
"Open a COMMAND prompt in Windows in folder where software is installed"
but which "software"? Delphi? Intraweb? the TMS pack?

3. can you also add instruction for Windows XP too please...?

  1. The TMS IntraWeb products currently only support Delphi XE6 with the bundled IW version (IW 14.0.0). Support for higher versions of IW 14 with Delphi XE6 will be added at a later date.

    2. The "software" mentioned in the install.txt refers to the TMS product.

    3. Please note that install instructions are the same for every supported Windows version.

I have the exact same problem using XE6 and IW 14.0.32. Is it possible to install the packages by opening each project file (below) and doing a build/install? This is how it used to be done.



   msbuild IW14TMSDxx.dproj

   msbuild IW14TMSDEDxx.dproj

   msbuild IW14TMSGRIDDxx.dproj

   msbuild IW14TMSGRIDDEDxx.dproj

   msbuild IW14TMSXLSDxx.dproj



Not sure if this makes any difference but the Embarcadero install path is different for RAD Studio vs. Delphi:



c:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\14.0\bin\rsvars.bat

c:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\14.0\bin\rsvars.bat

Please note that Delphi XE6 support is currently only available for IntraWeb 14.0.0. (As indicated on the TMS IntraWeb Component Pack product page and in previous posts in this topic).

You can still use the technique of opening the packages in the IDE and doing a build/install. However the same limitation will apply because the Delphi XE6 packages are only compatible with IntraWeb 14.0.0.
