Generate license in Delphi fails

First time user here. When I attempt to generate a license of TMS Web Core (Academic Edition) within Delphi 12 Community Edition - the registration fails. I've tried it on two separate computers with the same results. I have no anti-virus software. I made sure to copy and paste registration code with no leading white space, etc... Not sure what else to do. :expressionless_face: Thank you for any insight.

Assuming your entered the registration code correct, I cannot see what is wrong here. I can only assume there is something preventing a connection to our server from your machine.
You could check with a (free) tool like Fiddler Web Debugging Proxy and Troubleshooting Tools | Fiddler what happens with the HTTP request and what possibly prevents the connection.

Hi Bruno,

I’m still unable to activate my TMS WEB Core academic license on Delphi 12 Community Edition. I performed the following actions:

  • Ran TMSLicenseGenerator.exe as administrator
  • Disabled Windows Defender real-time protection
  • Verified that the registration email and code are correct

I also used Fiddler to capture the HTTP request to your server. I can confirm:

  • The license activation request successfully reaches www.tmssoftware.com and returns an HTTP 200 status (see attached screenshot).
  • However, the License Generator still reports: "The registration has failed!"

This suggests the HTTP request is reaching your server, but the response is being interpreted as a failure.

Could we double check the license registration details on the TMS server and advise?

Thank you for your assistance!

Best regards,
Gary

We see that it fails indeed.
The responsible developer for the backend validation will look into this as soon as possible and will report.

We’ve updated the setting for your academic license.
Could you please try again and let us know if everything works as expected now?
