ESC in TAdvSearchEdit dropdown will close down the form

In TAdvSearchEdit / TAdvSearchComboBox when the control is dropped down and I press ESC it will close down my form (provided that the property Cancel is set to true on the form).
I assume this is a bug. The ESC message should not be dispatched to the form, but simply close down the dropdown list window.
