Cannot install TMS VCL UIPack 13.6.4.0 in D2007

I reported this issue some time ago but, following your ‘TMS VCL UI Pack: Installation, Modernized’ message I thought it may have been fixed. However, I installed TMS VCL UIPack 13.6.4.0 using the TMS Dashboard (Version 1.4.0.0) but it was only installed in my D13.1, not in D2007. Of course when I looked at My Products on your website is see: ‘This product can only be installed through TMS Dashboard or TMS Smart Setup’.

When I look in the Dashboard’s Options>Delphi Versions>Detected Delphi Versions, D2007 is not listed. How can I install updates in D2007 now?

Since D2007 is not detected, it seems that there is something wrong with the installation of D2007 IDE. TMS VCL UI Pack supports D2007 and should be picked up when installing via TMS Smart Setup. You might want to check out TMS Doctor: doctor command | TMS Smart Setup documentation If all else fails, you will need to manually compile and install in your IDE, by browsing to .\products\tms.vcl.uipack\packages\d2007 open the groupproj and compile and install manually

I’m a +1 for the OP. Having just installed TMS Dashboard, on both a Windows 10 and a Windows 7 machine, when I go to Options | Delphi Versions, D2007 is not listed. Delphi D2007 is correctly installed and running on both machines.

Dashboard version: 1.4.0.0

Thanks Pieter. Have run TMS Doctor as you suggested but, apart from a large number of erroneous errors eg, flags Apollo6D2007.bpl and Apollo6D2007.~bpl as duplicated files, I can see nothing to indicate why D2007 is not detected; all it’s folders certainly are! How does Smart Setup detect Delphi installations?

We have seen an issue with detecting older (pre Embarcadero time) IDEs in TMS Dashboard and you can expect an update of TMS Dashboard for that asap.

If you want to install for all installed IDEs that should not matter. Just leave all selected and TMS Smart Setup will independently from what TMS Dashboard shows install for all found IDEs.

If you want to install just for a specific Delphi version, you can also directly configure via the yaml file for what Delphi IDEs to install the components.
