Download of UpdateBuilder in Chrome browser fails with message "updatebuilder.zip can't be downloaded securely". I managed to solve the problem by manually changing the link from http to https protocol. But even then I was successfull only after repeated attempts.

I was able to download the updatebuilder.zip with the latest version of Chrome, but you have to check the download message and confirm that you want to maintain the unsafe download.
I guess this depends on recent policies of Chome when you download a zip file containing exe or download an exe directly.
I've checked setup.exe inner with VirusTotal and Bitdefender and all is OK !
It is only a policy on Chrome download files.
Yes you are right. There is option to download unsafe file which I missed. I was confused because I don't see this error message often.
