Where it is ?
In 30 years of Delphi, I never saw that !
Thanks to tell me....
I know this one but I am only having messages for construction not for the IDE.
Is there an option to activate somewhere ?
Sorry, I don't have...
Now I see it too, it appears. And with 2.6.1.1, it also frequently report crashes.
Ok. I thought it was a Delphi feature. It is a Webcore feature...
After setting the options to true, restarting Delphi and create a new project, there is nothing in the event log when adding component on the webform....
The mistery is getting bigger...
Alexander: Do you have step by step information how we can reproduce this?
Gregoire: I can only suspect there is still old version .BPL files on your system. Search your full hard disk for TMSWEBCorePkgDEDXE15.bpl or TMSWEBCorePkgDEDXE15.dcp and delete ALL old version files.
No steps, it happens at the very start, before anything can be done.
Indeed, there were some under the Public user profile - rather weird, considering that I'm installing it all in non-default folders. And this may have fixed the AV's, but there's still no FNC:
After uninstalling Webcore and being sure there were no other bpl or dcp on hard drive, I reinstalled Webcore. I have that :
And I still have nothing in the event log.
A strange behavior I saw. The first time I create the project, the Editor looks like that :
And when I close and reopen the project, the Editor looks like that :
There is not your "main" tab anymore...
We suspect it might be related to the french edition of the Delphi IDE.
We are further investigating and if we find a proof & fix, we'll release an update.
Other than this, did you enable to send messages to the event log
We released v2.1.6.2.
Can you uninstall any prior version & check with this latest version?
2.1.6.2 installed. It works... No more message asking me if I want to remove the components ! (there is still no message in the event log but I don't need for my work).
After reloading the project, it is still working but :
This is still going on... Don't know if it is important for you.
As we cannot reproduce this here, is access to your machine possible to investigate?
