Transparent TAdvEdit

Hello,

I try to make a TAdvEdit transparent. I'm using the Transparency property but it doesn't work. I have Delphi 11 with TMS VCL UI PACK 4.0.1.3.

I have no particular theme used, it uses the Windows Theme.

TMS VCL UI Pack v4.0.1.3 ? The latest version is v13.0.9.0: https://www.tmssoftware.com/site/tmsvcluipack.asp?s=history

Sorry, on last TMS version and with Delphi 11 or 12.1

Go to project options, under Application, Appearance and uncheck : "Enable Runtime Themes"

My apps looks like Windows XP now...

When runtime themes are enabled, the Windows edit control class doesn't let the background painting override (to make it transparent)
