TMS Dashboard is a Mess

  1. Starts off by being literally undownloadable (even with smartscreen turned off) on Windows 11 - so had to hunt down a Windows 10 machine.
  2. Then I find out I have to manually uninstall each module, then start again.
  3. Then I find that there is no order to the software (before you could group by VCL,FMX etc)
  4. Then I find if I select 3 items to install - it only installs 2 (it always skips one)
  5. Then I find that some times the smart installer app hangs, so one of the installs fails and I have to manually go to the smart installer path to delete the temp directory and start from where I left off.
  6. Then I find that half the apps I want are marked unavailable (even though they are on my subscription) with the message can be installed from "My Products' - the very place it won't let me install them from.

  1. We have received reports indicating that the download was incorrectly blocked on some Windows machines. We are investigating to have this resolved.
  2. This is a one-time requirement due to TMS Smart Setup utilizing a different installation mechanism.
  3. You can use the search box in the top right corner to filter products or search for products. For example entering "fnc" will display only FNC products in the list. That said, your suggestion regarding category-based grouping is valuable, and we will consider implementing it in the future.
  4. We are currently not aware of such an issue. Could you specify which products are affected?
  5. To help us investigate further, could you provide details on the affected products and share the log file?
  6. Some products are not yet supported in TMS Smart Setup and, as a result, cannot be installed via the TMS Dashboard at this time.

1-3. Ok
4&5 - All, I pick any n products and n-1 are installed - I think 4&5 may actually be the same issue (i.e. the smart installer locks on one of the earlier installs and fails on the last one.
6 - That's sounds fair except for the fact it doesn't link to anything useful to install, but I can live with that for now.

Any ETA on all the VCL stuff being supported ?

I was unable to reproduce this issue. Could you please provide the TMS Smart Setup log file and specify which versions of Delphi you have installed? This information will help us investigate the issue further.

Will submit a support request (which I didn't bother with initially as I finally got all my stuffed installed - so saw no point).
