Today I decided that I will install Tms Dashboard and Smartsetup, thinking how cool it would be not to be bothered by manual install anymore.
My first surprise was that Dashboard couldn't update my products, I had to uninstall them manually.
The second surprise was that Dashboard didn't ask me where to install the products.
When Dashboard finished installing the products, I thought to open the Demo folder to check it. I couldn't find them.
I thought: "No matter, I will open Revo Uninstaller, or Windows Programs and Features to see, where they are" -> but there is no trace that the components were installed.
Then I thought, Dashboard should show the installation place, but it only shows the version number, release and the "Installed" label.
Where can I find the installed components' folders? Thank you very much!
Thank you, Csillag, for your feedback, and thanks to Roland for highlighting the TMS Smart Setup folder structure.
To clarify: all product management is now handled exclusively through TMS Smart Setup. The TMS Dashboard is simply a visual interface on top of it. This means that:
Traditional Windows installers are no longer used.
TMS Smart Setup does not recognize products previously installed with those installers.
This migration is a one-time step, once you reinstall your products via TMS Smart Setup, they can be fully managed from there going forward.
As Roland mentioned, all downloads, products, and demos are organized into subfolders inside the TMS Smart Setup directory.
We greatly appreciate your feedback and will look into making the installation location more transparent within the TMS Dashboard.
