Smart Setup - Flexcel install failed from the date: nov. 9. 2023

Smart Setup has worked very well for me so far.
Not from today. VCL.UIPack works, but VCL.Flexcel does not.
There is an error "[BRCC32 Error] XlsAdapterResources.rc(1): Expecting resource name or resource type name"
I can't even install "tms.biz.aurelius" anymore
I note that I have tried both Rebuild, complete uninstallation and a completely new installation of all available items.

We are checking the issue with TMS Flexcel installation, but in the meanwhile, you said you can't install TMS Aurelius, what is exactly the issue, since it's not mentioned in your log?

We've uploaded a new 1.0.10 version that should fix this problem. Can you confirm if it is working again with 1.0.10?

Hi,
using of "Smart Setup" version "1.0.10.0" and the command line: "tms build -full" everything was just installed correctly

Great! Thanks for letting us know. It was a weird bug, in that in some machines (we had another user with the same problem today too) it would write a UTF8 BOM in the .rc files, crashing the BRCC32 compiler. But in our machines here it worked fine. It turns out it was related with the locale of your machine.

When "Smart Setup" completely replaces the entire "Subscription Manager", it will be really perfect.
Especially the obligation to install according to interdependence were really time-consuming and attention-intensive.
The idea of batch processing of the installation without special attention to details is excellent.
Therefore I look forward to the results of this project.
