Installation Problems

Hello,

i wanted to install new version of TMS Biz , but i am not able to rebuild after installing the new version.

So i previously deinstalled my complete TMS installation, and started from scrap, but trying to install TMIS BIZ Core Library or installing TMS FNC Core i am failing !

The problem is probably related to multiple slashes in your library path, for example:

C:\Components\UniDAC for RAD Studio 11\Source\NexusDBProvider\\\

Try to clean up your library path and remove the multiple slashes.
Alternatively, I recommend you use TMS Smart Setup to install BIZ components. Is the new generation of the installer. The current one will be deprecated soon. And it doesn't suffer from this multiple slash problem, by the way (although I still recommend you fix it).

Both solution did not help :-)

I decided to setup a complete new Installtion of delphi 12 and my TMS Components, but still this is a really strange behaviour.

Please give detailed feedback so we can proceed.
Provide the logs of both new installations, if you removed the slashes and tried Smart Setup, the causes of the fail should be completely different in both tools, and different from the original one.

Dear Wagner,

sorry for the late answer, but i was busy finishing a project....
I solved the installation issue with the TMS BIZ components, in the end i deinstalled all BIZ comps and reinstalled with smart setup (nice tool by the way), so BIZ comps are working.
At the moment i still hae issues installing the new versions of FNC comps, i'll keep you informed about the progress .
