We use Ctrl3d :=false in our forms (or most of them - because it saves space.) We have replaced in few forms TDbEdits with TDbAdvEdits. But now there is some gap between border and text. Customers think that they have put one extra space there.
Is there anyway to remove that gap ?
Sorry, there is at this moment not a property to control this.
We improved this somewhat for Ctl3D = false and this improvement will be included in the next update.

I made a small query in Delphi developer facebook group and even ctrl-3d :=false isn't popular anymore there are still developers that use it.
