Debugger Time out

Hello Pieter,

when it compiles in Delphi FMX 13, it shows me 600’000 lines of code,

and then the message “Debugger Kernel Timeout“. It compiles the pas files from TMS, but isn’t it better they would be compiled already (dcu)?

Thanks for helping

Do you install via TMS Smart Setup? Because that precompiles the DCUs and then adds the library path pointing towards the DCUs

ah i have installed with TMS Dashboard, should i use Smart Setup?

i have installed now but again the huge amount of lines of code in debug mode,

??

It makes updating products easier and we are working towards a new build system that will focus on TMS Smart Setup, and move away from Subscription Manager.

Did you uninstall first? This is important. Other than that, It’s unclear exactly what could be the cause for the Debugger Kernel Timeout, we can’t really reproduce this here.

yes i did uninstall

This is the first time we encounter this. Is this 13.1? Are you compiling a big project where FNC is used? What happens if you compile a smaller new project with some FNC component on?

I could solve the problem
