DBAdvEdit SetFocus and SelectAll in OnExit

Hi

I check the DBAdvEdit value in OnExit procedure.
If the value, that typed the user, not good, i send a message to user, and refocus the DBAdvEdit (DBAdvEdit.SetFocus in OnExit procedure).

In this case SelectAll or AutoSelect don't do anything.
How i can do SelectAll ?
