I have an DBAdvGrid with 5 columns. 2 columns are read only. 2 columns have EditorType edPositiveNumeric. The last column is the edChecBox.
I want to use the Navigation.AdvanceOnEnter property.
When I use the return key (#13) from the 4th column to the 5th column (CheckBox), then the 5th column has an editor type of edPositiveNumeric instead of edCheckBox (probably from the previous column).
I retested this here but I could not reproduce this.
Is this with the latest TMS VCL UI Pack v13.0.9.0?

Can't you please just create a test project with a CDS with which we can reproduce this.
Assembling a project ourselves here from bits & pieces is error prone and not efficient.
Because I don't know haw make CDS I used your Demo project ..\Demos\DBAdvGrid\ADOEditing\ with your database CARS.MDB. I only changed path for DB in DataSource and I maped grid columns. After checked "AdvanceOnEnter" and using return key was problem with columns "Type".

Immediate fix : set grid.EditPostMode = epRow
We'll investigate the situation with grid.EditPostMode = epCell
