our AV Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12 reports the setup package of VCLExcelBridge as "malicious object":

The setup.exe is than removed to quarantine.
Do you have any idea why this exe is marked as malicious?

Other Setup.exe I use, are not marked:

  • TMS VCL UI Pack
  • TMS FlexCel for VCL & FMX

Do these packages does have another mechanism or a different version of updtmspacks.exe?

This is a false positive.
I suggest to whitelist this installer with your AV tool.
