what is your suggestion to realize a dropdown menu when pressing the dropdown button on a TMSFNCToolBarButton with DropDownKind = ddkDropDownButton?

You can assign any kind of control to the DropDownControl property. We unfortunately do not have a menu component available, but you could use a TTMSFNCListBox
