Adding TAdvChartLink worked fine when everything was installed via subscription-manager.
How can I install/add TAdvChartLink properly when using smart setup ?
I can add the file manually to AdvChartDXE14.bpl and compile it manually , but it does not show in the component-palette.
What do I need to do step by step ?

Hi,
The TAdvChartLink is an exception, we'll look into it here. For now, open the package in the IDE, remove all dependencies, compile and add the proposed dependencies which will be picked up while building. Then install the package.

this did not work as expected. I installed the TMS VCL Chart via subscription manager - that worked fine.
It's not a big issue because I tested smart setup not on my main machine. I will wait until the product is finished and ready to use.

@wlandgraf TAdvChartLink is a component that can only be installed if TMS VCL UI Pack is available. If I include this in the TMS VCL Chart Package, will it skip this package if TMS VCL UI Pack is not available or automatically try to download it?
TAdvChartLink should now automatically be installed when installing an update of TMS VCL Chart via TMS Smart Setup. It depends on TMS VCL UI Pack so, TMS VCL UI Pack will automatically be installed alongside. The next update will have this included and will be available starting from XE2

you guys, your support and your products are really great! TAdvChartLink works like a charm now installed with Smart Setup.
The only thing missing in Smart Setup once Webcore is finished is TMS Diagram Studio. But there's no hurry - as long as the old setup is maintained...
