I need personalize my applications. To day buy TMS VCL UI pack I used components from Developer Express. Component TCxPropertiesStore allows set at runtime *.ini file name. Every application user have his own configuration file for customise apperance, behaviour and other parameters.
Do You plan to make in the near future component like this or better extend component TFormSize to store additionaly properties components placed on the forms?
We've added this on the list for consideration for future developments
It's very usefull componenet. It was even in legendary RxLibrary. I am very surprised that as big component pack as VCL UI Pack have no component like this. The best solution is extend component TFormSize to store additionaly properties components placed on the forms like in RxLibrary's component FormStorage. I must stop using it because it cannot store nested properties of modern components.
So far we didn't have demand for this, but we'll discuss it here in the team and see how we can move this forward.
