Whilst this seems silly ratings above 100% are new being given for new energy efficient homes.

This has actually been in effect for a couple of years. A can't find any specific info on it but It can rise above 100 if the dwelling is a net exporter of energy. Zoopla have also introduced a change to their Real-time system where SAP and EPC ratings are no longer capped at 100.

Section 13 states:
The SAP rating scale has been set so that SAP 100 is achieved at zero-ECF. It can rise above 100 if the dwelling is a net exporter of energy.
Ok, these will require extensions to the component.
The best place for such feature request is
When there is sufficient demand, we will extend this component to deal with newer rating scales.
