Hi,

When running standalone online, while it is refreshing a new version, is it possible to display something on the screen?

There is at this moment no such functionality built-in to have this automatically.
Easiest to achieve could be to let the new version display a one-time message when it starts.

It seems to be refreshing before I can show any message.

I do not really understand what exactly you want.
The refreshing is something done outside the app itself, it is the browser that deal with updating cached files BEFORE the app is then started. So, your app cannot do anything before it is started.

The PWA app just has a blank screen while any changes are being downloaded. I'm just asking if it is possible to display anything onscreen while this is happening.
