I see there's a video player component, TTMSFNCWXVideoPlayer. Are there plans to add an audio player?

No fixed plan at this moment.
We'll need to investigate what is feasible and what makes sense.
What kind of audio file support & features are you looking for?

The Text-to-speech generates audio and the Video player also does, so I thought there might be some way to play just audio files. Maybe the video player could have a mode to play them? Personally, I'd like to see WAV, MP3, M4a, and FLAC.

It looks like we could make a variant of the video player to accomplish this.
We've added this on our todolist.
