Hi, is it possible to change from shift to control on selection of multiple cells in the planner ? I feel it is hard coded.

It is correct that at this moment multiselect is hard-coded to Ctrl-click.
There is not a setting to make this work with Shift, which is used for range selection.
This is a common pattern in UI controls.
