Hi, we’ll investigate asap!
Have you downloaded both the latest versions of TMS FNC Core & TMS FNC UI Pack?
Issue is with 2nd download for VSCODE, please see picture below. Standard download , green one below, contains WEB so VSC install works without an ERROR. Old FNC SUIT: all tools do not work with this new version of FNC Core. I am disappointed and not happy.
yes
You had no prior / older version of TMS FNC Core installed?
Make sure ALL old versions are removed and that your library path does not longer point to old versions
Download both the latest version of TMS FNC Core for VSC and latest version of TMS FNC UI Pack for VSC
First install TMS FNC Core for VSC. Make sure the TMS WEB Core library path is updated with the TMS FNC Core library path
Verify TMS FNC Core for VSC is correctly working in your apps (add a TMS FNC Core for VSC unit for example to your uses clause and compile & run the app)
Then proceed to install TMS FNC UI Pack for VSC. Make also sure that the path where TMS FNC UI Pack for VSC is installed, is added to your TMS WEB Core library path.
Hi Bruno.
The latest version of FNC Core is not compatible with the FNC Component Studio package that I purchased two years ago.
To avoid conflicts, I removed all FNC Component Studio packages and installed FNC Core and the FNC UI Pack in a fresh installation of VS Code for Mac Silicon.
The VS Code version of FNC Core and FNC UI Pack—the second download option—contains an installation bug, ( verified by your team)
but the Delphi version installs correctly into VSCODE on MacOS.
Since I didn’t want to discard my FNC Component Studio license (~800 EUR), I installed it separately in VS Code Insider.
As a result, I now have two versions of VS Code:
one with the latest FNC Core and FNC UI Pack
and another dedicated to the older FNC Component Studio
This setup is my current workaround.
