Can't get the responsive grid to work once a sidemenu added

If you remove the side menu and set the grid to client I get the responses needed. ie the grid items show correctly and the scrollbars work. Therefore it works on desktop & mobile.

Can anyone change the setting to get it working in a with a side menu ?

Here you see a responsive grid working together with a sidemenu.
Important is to set the SideMenu item ContentControl.ElementPosition to epRelative so that its child with ElementPosition = epAbsolute will align to the automatic set width/height of the ContentControl
