I would like to draw your attention to the feature request "2385: AdvMemo Tab character support". For the use TAdvMemo as editor for SQL scripts. Among other things, the Tab may be part of a Text data.
Short example:
'a' + # 9 + 'c' becomes 'a' + ' ' + ' ' + 'c' in current condition
But the Text as Data cannot be changed in this way!
SQL script is often used to fill data into the database, or to generate new SQL scripts.
Therefore, any change in the text content is not appropriate.
