XLSImport - The file "" is invalid

Hi,

i'm using an AdvGridExcelIO component to import XLSX files.
With some files when I run XLSImport, exception "The file "" is invalid" is raised.
The file exists and I can open it with Excel with no problems.

Is the AdvGridExcelIO component compatible with xlsx files?

We support valid XLS files from Excel 97 .. Excel 2013.
Can it be this is an Excel 95 file?

No, it's a normal XLSX file, 1 worksheet, no formulas, no macro.

It's a simple list of data.

TAdvGridExcelIO is only capable of handling .XLS files.
