Will XDATA / Aurelius work with "Azure SQL"? I usually use VM's running in Azure.

Aurelius do not have a specific driver for Azure SQL but It has for SQL Server you could try (since Azure SQL is based on SQL Server)

Yes, it should work normally with the regular SQL Server dialect and regular SQL Server connection.
