I would like this as well.
A HTML SELECT element has not JavaScript oncloseup-like event, so it is not possible to wrap a direct equivalent.
We have wrapped the OnFocusOut, OnFocusIn and these will become available in the next update and this should partially address this and is the best possible way we can do it mapping directly on the HTML SELECT element.
