Can I suggest that wherever possible:
Before the installation starts for the selected component:

  1. We can set the default directory for the "components".
    (Default directory from last installation)
  2. We can set the default directory for the component "demos".
    (Default directory from last installation)
  3. We can set the platforms needed ( eg Win32, Win64, MacOs etc.)
  4. We can automatically remove the old installation without any prompt.
    ( Preferably by invoking the add/remove programs built into the respective OS)

(All on one screen if at all possible and a confirmation to accept and start install).
That would make for a more easier component installation experience.

We are investigating this. This will require changes in both the TMS Subscription Manager and each product installer itself.
