Is there are way to set the colour of a particular item in a side menu. When you click a menu option to open a form, I would like that option highlighted on the next form.

A possibility could be to insert the menu text with HTML formatting and specify a color via HTML.
On menu item level, there is currently no built-in support to set a different color per item.
