Re-Installation Problems

Hi,

I have had to recover my PC and I am having problems reinstalling the products. This only seems to be a problem with the business tools. FNC, FMX, VCL, Web Core, etc. all install fine. But TMS Business core library keeps giving messages about already being installed and then fails to uninstall and I can't get past this.

How do I completely remove TMS Business products from my PC so that I can then install again using the subscription manager.

Hi,

You should make sure the product is indeed uninstalled from Delphi and the disk.
Delete all directories where you installed TMS Business products, remove TMS Business directories from Delphi library path.
After you've done that, open Windows registry, go to key 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware

and delete all subways related to TMS Business products you want to install and it says you cannot uninstall. Those would usually be 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS Business Core Library
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS Aurelius
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS Sparkle
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS XData
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS RemoteDB
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\tmssoftware\TMS Echo

Thanks it was the removal of the registry entries that I was missing. That's the last time that I try to use the Embarcadero migration utility!
