Custom views are lost when reading/writing an Excel file with FlexCel. Any plans when this will be supported?
Custom views are currently preserved in xls, and some parts (but not all) in xlsx files.
I think it shouldn't be difficult to add full preservation to xlsx (as well as converting between xlsx and xls), it is just that it is a low priority item (I guess it is the first time I get a request for it, and I do get many requests a day for different stuff). I personally find custom views quite confusing myself, I can never figure out in which view I am.
Right now our priority is in conditional formatting and we can't do much more before full conditional formatting is done, but I'll see to add it after that.
