FNCComboBox focus problem

When I click on an FNCComboBox the parent form loses focus, so as I move through the controls on the form I get an ugly flash when I reach the combo. Is there any way to avoid this - none of the other FNC controls I use exhibit this behaviour (nor does the Vcl combobox).
