FMX or VCL Cloud Pack to work with CrossVCL

FMX TMS FMX Cloud Pack

Hi,

I'm investigating building an application using VCL for the Windows side and CrossVCL for the MacOS side - I also want to use Cloud Pack, which version should I purchase, VCL or FMX? I'm assuming FMX as even though I'm not using FireMonkey UI it is cross platform. Or will neither work?!

- The TMS VCL Cloud Pack has not been tested with CrossVCL, it's likely that it won't be fully compatible out of the box.
There is a fully functional trial version available for TMS VCL Cloud Pack but you probably won't be able to use it in combination with CrossVCL as it is pre-compiled.

- Please note that TMS FMX Cloud Pack is only compatible with the FireMonkey framework. It's not compatible with VCL.
However you can target both Windows and MacOS with a single FireMonkey application so this approach might be useful for you as well.

Thanks, maybe I'll stick with FireMonkey for now and leave CrossVCL for experimentation until it gains more traction (which it hopefully will).
