I just realized that embedded objects in an Excel worksheet are deleted by FlexCel. Is it possible to preserve those objects? We don't need to modify them using FlexCel, they just need to be passed through.
Could we get a short statement regarding this issue, please?

What kind of embedded objects are you referring to? Most kinds are preserved including form objects and activex objects. There might be some cases where they aren't because they are binary blobs which we can't guarantee will remain valid after you modify a file, but those should be really rare.
Can you send me an example of a simple file with an embedded object that isn't preserved?
