Hi
How to hide the screen or make it display correctly while loading data from database to a string grid.
While the processing is going on the screen behind is not available and blocked till the loading has finished.
Perhaps a message saying 'loading data .. please wait' that does not upset the display of the screen behind it !
Any ideas on how that can be done?

Not sure I fully understand the scope of your question, but perhaps you can minimize the form programmatically and after this show a secondary form while the processing on the minimized form is happening?
