In a master/detail table view, there is the event OnItemBeforeShowDetailView to detect whether the view changes from master to detail/sub view. Unfortunately, there is no event to detect whether the table view changes from detail/sub to master view. Is there another way to detect this?

Unfortunately with the default configuration no, you would need to create a custom back button to detect changes. We have added this on our todolist for investigation.
