Data Modeler - Import structure from MySQL 8 and MySQL 9

MySQL option is only for v5.7 and today v8 and v9 exists with native_password authentication deprecated.

New update app to last versions of MySQL is required to connect with MySQL

What update is needed, exactly? Isn't this something that can be configured at MySQL client level?

  • In Data Dictionary Import, latest database versions are not included.

  • With MySQL 8/9 native password was deprecated

Have you tried simply using MySQL 5.7? I tried it here and it connects fine with MySQL 8. I'm using libmysql.dll version 5.7.44.
