Convert PDF to PNG

I tried posting this in FNC Core but I'm not allowed to create a post there.

Is the TMS FNC PDF component a visual control? Hopefully there is a non visual one.

I am after a component/library that will convert a PDF to a PNG on both Windows and on Linux.

The TMS FNC PDF Viewer is a visual component.
We currently do not have a non visual component for converting PDF pages to PNG.
